I'm hella brolic doo! Fall back.

Question to get back on topic.

Willl these $35 514's get as good honeycombs/stacks/wallet marks etc. as $200 Nudies? Or is it, the more expensive the denim, the better looking the jeans could look? (not the cut/style, the wear i mean)
514s arent raw denim. They won't fade like RAW DENIM.

I swear some people are just stupid...It's common sense dude.

ooh yeah. I forgot that raw and regular demin (pre-washed is it called?) fades different. I'm new.

yo, i got some cheap monday regular fit raw unwashed denims, i want to shrink them down a little and try to get some nice honeycombs on them and nice fading, i was wondering how i would go about doing so.....
April 02, 2008 @ 00:17:44
If you want them to shrink, just soak them in some hot water for 30minutes or longer but youll lose some stiffness, if you want nice honeycombs and fading just wear them, but i dont think cm fade very well

with cheap monday's i hear that they stretch a lot if i buy a pair and i like how they fit do i have to soak them(im not overly stressed on fades etc)??? and secondly if they stretch later down the track will soaking them return them to their former fit??
April 06, 2008 @ 22:50:26
cm stretch like a bitch i heard, you dont need to soak, they dont fade alot either. but if they stretch out to much just give them a hot soak and hot dry

When you say that you must soak stf's in hot water, what is considered as hot? As hot as you can get from your shower or what? :D
April 07, 2008 @ 21:07:19
pretty much, or you can go even hotter and put in boiling water

I'm looking to get my jeans so they're a tighter fit.

how would i go on doing this?
would i still use the shrink method?
April 07, 2008 @ 22:56:53
Your jeans won't necessarily shrink by soaking. Soaking only shrinks them back to their original fit which will stretch back out.

Uhhhh...they stack if the inseam is longer than your legs. WTF is up with kids these days? COMMON FUCKING SENSE. tongueface

the ones i have have creases in the back of the knees but i dunno if you can consider that honeycombs. my question was will the creases stay cuz i'm pretty sure these aren't raw denim. and what's with all the hostility???

it was just a question. calm down buddy. isn't this the reason why we have these forums in the first place? for people to ask questions. and for people with the answers to answer the questions. no matter how stupid they are? not everyone on here are professionals.
