I got my Nudies and they are a bit slim ish fit and not really tight, but just slim.

My fat pushes on the button at times lol...

i'm thinking about a pair of nudies, how long should i soak em to minimize bleeding, but so they don't shink too much i'm not into the slim look but more fitted these days
Dec 13, 2007 @ 19:26
Nudies are sanforized so you don't soak them and they won't shrink. They will stretch with some wear though.

cool thanks

Ok so can someone tell me the effective way of starching my jeans? I have a pair of Nudies Grim Tims that I washed once and cold soaked once after about a month of wear due to some dirt stains. They have gone soft on me. So should I starch them while I am wearing them or while they are hanging?

Dude,

Starch is gonna require some ironing and heat to harden. I mean you could starch while your wearing, but it'll feel damp jeans.

I don't think you should wash, nor soak that much or else you'd ruin it.

The general consensus is to WEAR them as long as possible b4 any major cleaning. The exact DATES will depend, though that's what makes it a secret and that's what makes each pair so diff't. ;)

im planning on getting some apc new standards. when i do how should i go about wearing them? for as long as possible and try to keep them clean then wash them, or soak them when i get them?

Does anyone know if Corpus raw jeans are sanforized? I haven't soaked them yet but I've only worn them for a day.

Are CM sanfor?
Are nudies sanfor?
Dec 29, 2007 @ 01:29
It's already been answered earlier, yes nudies are sanfordized. And I don't know about Cheap Mondays.

sorry for this mad n00b question but i know next to nothing about denim

but ive had some industrie (australian comp.) raw denim jeans and when i got them i just wore them and didnt soak them or anything etc

i have worn them a few times and have and once got caught in a bit of rain

i now want to shrink/age them what do i do ?? etc in terms of soaking etc

end n00bage
Jan 09, 2008 @ 12:46
Well, first off the bit about being caught in the rain won't affect them, raw jeans can get absolutely soaked in a downpour and be fine.
If you want them to shrink you can hot soak them for an hour or two, and they should contract. If they're sanforized, then they will only shrink down to their original size, but if they aren't, they might shrink a bit more. If you don't want that, you can just wear wet/damp for a bit and they'll be fine.
On an aside, I've never heard of this company, how do you find them? Pictures?

I just got my nudies in and they are too long. I got a size 34 length (shouldve gotten 30-32). Should I get them tailored?

I'm 5'8 if that helps. Should i get them tailored or just stack them around my kicks?
They are the straight svens if that matters.

I'd say let them stack, but if its too much just hem them a bit.

Techniques in using startch to bring more or back stiffness to the denim?

Anyone help plz
Jan 12, 2008 @ 08:58
Go to our local convenience store, go to the back, grab a can of starch, pay for the can of starch, then spray starch where stiffness is desired .blushing

edit : or just don't use starch at all and wear it naturally, depends what denim you have.
Jan 12, 2008 @ 11:40
Currently I'm experimenting with some hm denim

But yes I do have a can of startch but I heard in order to bring back the stiffness by using startch is by also ironing which is something I don't wonna do...

Or how about this, before my warm soak, should I iron the jeans with the startch, would that help...
Jan 12, 2008 @ 11:44
i've heard doing a short cold soak roughly around 30 minutes brings back some stiffness. i've used starch on my working jeans, no ironing. Seems to show some stiffness however.blushing

I have a brand new pair of Rebel Ape raw selvedge and I want max shrinkage. Should I go hot soak or hot machine wash? Also, how should I go about drying them without taking too much of their raw stiffness away?

Can I just bring my jeans into any tailoring shop and ask for them to keep the original hem so that it looks the same, just not as long, or is that not recommended?
Is there that much of a difference to use chainstitching and just taking it to the tailor down the street?
Jan 14, 2008 @ 04:52
So the other night I was hella drunk, and when taking a leak I fell sideways and my Edwin's have a few grass stains and a mud stain on the turn-up.
I have only worn them around 6/7 times, and had them about a month - how's the best way I can clean them?

smh
Jan 14, 2008 @ 20:03
Just wash them, if theyre dirty, theyre dirty cant do nothing about that but wash them. its not like you will die if you just put your edwins in the washer
