Levi's 501's, What to do to Guaruntee Best Results?
So just bought 32x32 501's dark. I don't want the color to fade(as much as possible) and I want them to shrink as little as possible.

***note: These are pre-washed.

Please help soon, is much appreciated.

if you dont want them to fade wash them inside out in cold water so they dont shrink either.

Do I wash them when they become dirty or right now? Hang to dry I'm guessing?

Since they are pre wash it doesn't really matter when you wash or not. Along with hang drying.

I'm the biggest noob ever.
I have some WeSC selvage. I've been wearing em for like 6 months
How would I get rid of excess indigo?
Information wanted would be like how would I soak, wash, hang, etc. I want to shrink em.
Starch too.

I have a quick question.

Is there any quick way to get rid of salt stains at the bottoms of my jeans without washing them?

Maybe a soak?

just wear em man, 6months is nothing. by excess indigo i think you are trying to say you want to get rid of the loosened indigo right? just wear em. the longer they dont touch water the better. idk how WeSC denim fades though, might be lacking on the quality side : (. if they get unbearably smelly, just soak them in warm to hot water with detergent and then hang dry.

I tried dabbing it but it kinda just spread it around. I think i'll try soaking it today.

Not really, you can put tape around the inside of your hem, but that'll be pretty much it

as i recall, cheep soaked like 3-4 inches of the leg opening, to reduce the bleeding.
drewp also took cheeps technique into his own hands and soaked his SEXI04's.

AS I RECALL, cheep mentioned that unwashed (quality) denim will continue to bleed regardless of soak. Nudies will probably still continue to bleed after soaks, but might after a post wash of months of wear

What are you talking about? That didn't make any sense at all. That statement lacks weak sarcasm. ANYWAY, anyone is free to post questions or answers, if your answer is incorrect or misguided its my job to to make it accurate the best I can.

I want to reinforce the crotch on my APCs. Can any tailor do this, or do I need to find a good one?

Any tailor can it, but it would best if you show them what you need and make sure they know what they are doing

Yeah, just water you deem is warm or hot.
