hi i was thinking to soak my jeans but im not to clear enough so if i soaked 'em is it affect the fading progress? or it makes even better?

^i suggest you dont, you can but its better to wear out the jawns before you give it a soak/wash..wear it for as long as you can and as hard as you can until you cant take the smell or it looks so dirty that it def needs a wash.

well first things first, you wanna wear out your jeans for as much as you can before washing them, bcuz this gives a better contrast after the washing process..your allowed to machine wash your denim,you just dont want to wash it early on in the process, also when machine washing make sure you wash it properly under the proper settings like inside-out and under the proper temperature so it does not come out looking horrible, hopefully this helps rise..

this i mean after let's say a soak. opposed to waiting another night for it to hang dry, how come i cannot machine dry it?

I unknowingly sat on something sticky while I was in a resteraunt with my family. This residue also got on my tee. It smells like barbeque sauce and its stickyish.

Is there a way to clean it w/o fading/causing defects?? Or should I just wait till I soak my APC's in the later months?

well if it smells horrid,go give'em a soak,if not keep wearing the hell out of them until theyre dirtfy as hell or smell like shit..

i got that problem with the kneessad. the waist fits perfectly. is there any way to fix the knees?

hang dry it, if the pair is raw and you want to keep its stiffness then hang dry it,but if you dont care just toss it in the drying machine, itll be dark but not rigid

To bring a serious answer to your question, you can either toss them in a washing machine, or throw them in the tub like a regular soak, and put soap in there. From ISS: Dr. Bronner's Castile Soap was a recommendation.
