Get mildew smell out of my APCs!

So I washed my APCs and apparently the washer broke midway through leaving all the suds and I thought it would be okay so I took them out and hang dried them. Now they smell like mildew aka horrible and I need to get them out. I tried washing them with detergent on cold again and rack dry but still smells like shit; also threw them in the freezer.

Should I cold wash again with a cup of white vinegar and detergent? What about baking soda? I really dont want to shrink them but I feel like cold wash may not be strong enough to get the smell out. What do you think? I also can only hang dry them inside which doesnt help.Thanks

just washed with white vinegar. seem to work well. rack drying now~

good luck worst case...try airing them outside with a couple dryer sheets tucked in the pockets and in the legs for a day in the sun. Shocked how often good sunning and airing will help the stank
