Slim fit denim on budget? | Hypebeast Forums

I'm looking to pick up 3 to 4 pairs of denim, doing a bit of a wardrobe change.
I like a slim fit. Nothing super skinny, nothing loose.
Any recommendations to look into if I would like to spend $40-$80 per pair, or will I not get anything with that money?
My waist is between 28-30

Levis if you want washed denim, 510 fit sounds like it would be right for you, or Urban Outfitters unbranded if you want to go the whole raw denim way.

^ 510 would definitely be way too skinny if he were going for Levis. If you want a straight-slim fit go for 514's or 511's in Levi's.

Thanks, I looked into Unbranded but only problem is I'm a 30 inseam and it seems Unbranded is 34 at the shortest. Anything I could do with those, or are they simply too long?

I think I'll pick up some Levi's. But, I do want selvedge. I know it's more expensive though.

Any other companies I could look into for a slim fit in the $40-$80 range?

simple solution is get them hemmed! I'd definitely go with unbranded tho, really awesome stuff for the price

Alright I'm gonna pick up a pair of unbrandeds. Where should I go to get them hemmed? And how exactly do they do that? I've never had pants hemmed before

Raws: Unbranded tapereds, Uniqlo's
pre washed: H&M's Sliq fit, Levi's 511's, 521's, and 514, Uniqlo, forever21(if your desperate) haha

you may also want to try your local urban outfitters, they usually have good finds every now n then in the sale racks

Nordstroms rack here in Sacramento have selvege Levis i think 511 fit for like $40-$50 should check it out and see if they have one where your at

Heard about them on sufu and bought a pair. They probably go on sale often. When I went to get a pair, I got an in-store 40% off coupon from one of the employees. I also was surprised at how good the fit is.

Uniqlo S-002 is another good budget jean.
