That's true and a good point, but if you're the type to just drop / sell your denim after less than a year rather than sticking with it or at the very least building up a good rotation, denim probably isn't the best hobby for you...

Some fade/smell differently
I baught a pair of Rugby back in January, and a Pair of PRPS in Feb. (relativly close) Havent washed them yet, but the Rugby's are starting to have a pretty cool fade, but they are starting to smell like butt sweat. The PRPS isnt fading that much, and doesent smell that bad. How should I wash them. And I got a pair of Selvedge from Lucky on sale for $50, was tht a good choice?

ok... the better dyed your jeans the better they can handle washes... but even my sons levis stf dont fade too much in each wash... if you dont wash them after every time you wear them you should be fine.

when i wash, i wash em at the laundrymat in the machine on hot with scent free detergent. i always hang to dry

and me too old for this forum? just because youre young doesnt mean im too old.

wash these about once a month.



these were washed every 3 weeks.

ive been on that "wash your jeans when they are dirty" shit since 06... still havent ruined a pair of jeans.


as statistics say, jeans can not get any dirtier after a couple months.

^read the posts above you, your argument is invalid. i know the guy, he just walks around in them shits, and for more than half a year we're at -30C and below. bacteria aint gunna cultivate in that shit anyway.

holding out on washing your jeans aint gonna do shit for fades or contrast if all you do is fucking walk around in them.

you people do what you want, but holding out on washes/fades dont do ANYTHING for fades/contrast if you just going to walk around and sit in them.
