My jeans are kinda long and because I don't wear my shoes in my house my jeans are dragging on the ground. Any way I can prevent this without affecting the way the fades will turn out?

if you don't care about getting stacks on your raw jeans then either get alteration on the length or cuff them.

No I want my stacks, and I don't want a cuff line affecting my stacks

It really depends on the leg opening and the type of shoe you're wearing.

When I wear shoes they are like 2-4 inches from the ground. It's just when I'm home.

too long? or just get them tapered even more... i wear 7.5 leg opening and they dont drag at all. or just stop wearing them in the house. problem solved. why are you even worrying about this?

lol if you dont want to cuff, there's no point in saving the selvedge line. cuffing is the only way to show it off.

You can taper without ruining your selvedge, just find a decent tailor...

Taper the other seam if you want to keep the selvedge line. But like SupraRZ said you'll probably need a good tailor. But really if you don't want to cuff then why does the selvedge line matter?

You don't need to taper or cuff.
I got the best way to prevent your jeans from dragging.
First spray heavy starch on your stacks as much as you can.
Or if you don't want starch on your jeans just staple your stacks together.

Fuck off haters. And dude this works. Best tip for you.

jesus christ, just wear the damn things. if they drag, cuff them or just let them drag. nothings gonna change how they fade cause they're not gonna fade if you just sit on your lazy ass. naked and famous aren't even that great of jeans...who cares.

or just cuff the very bottom of the jeans, so little it doesnt even look like you have a cuff and that should at least keep em above your feet.

If you don't want to hem, and you don't want to cuff, then the only way to keep your hems from dragging on the ground without affecting your fades is to wear slippers in the house. That's what I do.

Not if the taper is on the inseam rather than the outseam. But like someone else pointed out, does it really matter if you aren't going to cuff?

I have this same problem, that's why I brought a pair of Crocs to wear indoor lol. I don't use slippers cos they too low profile. And I hate Crocs, but it works and it's cheap.
