Blue in Green N-01

August 06, 2010 @ 18:09:55
so, blue in green finally got around to making thier own jeans. these are not a co-branded product, or made by another brand, but BiG is working directly with a factory in Japan to get these made. being a fan of the store, and Gordon, the man behind it all, once i saw them i decided that i had to have them.

first impressions...

these jeans are fucking awesome!!!!

ive never seen jeans lose this much indigo in a hot soak, and then be so dark after.

details are great... love the two tone stitching, plain rivets, and donut buttons.

fit is almost perfect, tho i think they could use about another half inch on the back rise.

did i say these are fucking awesome?!?!?!

the fit on those is dope smokeyface
how did you size? and what size are you wearing?
if I may ask
August 06, 2010 @ 19:32:53
size 32, which is the same size i wear in most everything else.
August 06, 2010 @ 19:51:35
this is how denim should be worn.

As I grow older, I pay less attention to what men say. I just watch what they do.

some detail shots.

August 07, 2010 @ 13:13:12
nice stuff cheep, looks worth the price tag.
August 07, 2010 @ 13:18:07
more than woth it... these are nicer than most of the big name japanese jeans ive worn.
August 07, 2010 @ 13:31:04
any reason for the price hike on the other model they are selling?
August 07, 2010 @ 13:32:52
no. no hem on them... and i dont work for big, so i have no idea why there is a price hike.
August 07, 2010 @ 15:13:28
I'm gonna try to get a pair of these... and I would assume the rise of the yen compared to the dollar would be why the price is going up.
August 07, 2010 @ 19:43:58
That is a nice pair! The only thing is that like you said about the 1/2" on the back rise, I would also agree, it looks like it is not high enough of a rise.

August 08, 2010 @ 05:24:00
i'll probablly buy one pair of them. but... cheap. whats is better quality? this one or samurais/pure blue japans? thanks blushing .
August 08, 2010 @ 11:26:49
id say equal quality... tho these use pima cotton... cant wait to see how that turns out.
August 08, 2010 @ 20:27:12
So if I want a 710 fit, can I just go true to size on these? Or go down 1?
August 08, 2010 @ 22:38:47
id go true since these have a lower rise, slimmer thigh, and smaller at the knee.
August 08, 2010 @ 23:26:45
Thanks boo

I am just wondering, could you take pics if there is selvage?

August 10, 2010 @ 10:43:37

August 10, 2010 @ 12:34:15

My bad, but thanks for the pics guys.

Skinny legs so 8.25 at the knee doesn't suit me so much, hem is fine with these though

jeans look great, first time I've ever seriously felt inclined to spend 200+ dolores on denim.

Cheap anyone else notice a striking resemblance between cheap and Billy Walsh in the latest episode of entourage. They look just like each other

tried these on today, if it wasnt for being too slim i woulda copped
August 12, 2010 @ 21:13:20

i srsly dont think BIG will make any skinnish jeans. When they do a tapered one, that usually means more roomy thighs, as u can tell from their collab with PBJ.
if u want a more slimmer fit overall, then go with 011, or wait for the new stuff brought by PBJ soon...&)
