so, blue in green finally got around to making thier own jeans. these are not a co-branded product, or made by another brand, but BiG is working directly with a factory in Japan to get these made. being a fan of the store, and Gordon, the man behind it all, once i saw them i decided that i had to have them.

first impressions...

these jeans are fucking awesome!!!!

ive never seen jeans lose this much indigo in a hot soak, and then be so dark after.

details are great... love the two tone stitching, plain rivets, and donut buttons.

fit is almost perfect, tho i think they could use about another half inch on the back rise.

did i say these are fucking awesome?!?!?!

its a slim tapered cut... mid rise.

I'm gonna try to get a pair of these... and I would assume the rise of the yen compared to the dollar would be why the price is going up.

That is a nice pair! The only thing is that like you said about the 1/2" on the back rise, I would also agree, it looks like it is not high enough of a rise.

id go true since these have a lower rise, slimmer thigh, and smaller at the knee.

i srsly dont think BIG will make any skinnish jeans. When they do a tapered one, that usually means more roomy thighs, as u can tell from their collab with PBJ.
if u want a more slimmer fit overall, then go with 011, or wait for the new stuff brought by PBJ soon...&)
