To the guy that got gum on his jeans, go to home depot or any hardware store, they should carry a product called "Goo Gone." Rub it on the area and the gum should come off. I've never tried it on a pair of raw jeans before but its worth a shot. Its also advised to wash it after. Ive also heard that vinegar may work.

UO tapered fit. It was down in Stanwood if you know where that is lol. About the gum, I just wore them and most of it went away on it's own and I just scraped off the last bit. Anyways, went to Seattle today with my girlfriend. Stopped by some stores and just walked around then ate at the cheesecake factory.

get a piece of ice cube and rub the spot so it'll get stiffer then procede to scrape it delicately with a razor blade... THEN REPEAT AGAIN!

it's not 100% solution, but it sure does minimize it.
