Didnt see a thread dedicated to repairs yet... Just like fades and other types of wear I think personal repairs add a bit of character to your denim and prolongs it's life too.

Just starting to learn how to repair denim and I think for the time being I prefer external patches. I just like the way they look. First attempt.

Hole got a bit bigger since the photo

Done for the time being. Interested to see the hickory stripe take a beating and unravel slowly.

Looks like a pretty large rip... You might wanna try taking a piece of denim and placing it underneath then using a sewing machine to go back and forth to close it up and make the seal strong. Or pay up ~$40 for someone else to fix it.

so while skateboarding i took a pretty big fall and ripped the back pocket of my sams. i'd like the repair to be as subtle as possible. has anyone tried denimsurgeon.com/ or denimtherapy.com/ for this type of repair? are there any other places that would do a good job at this type of denim repair?
