I picked these up off ebay for 68 shipped about a month ago. I really like them. Got a 28, but probably should have grabbed a 29 so they were more comfortable, but they seem to run tts. I wear them like 3 times a week, they stretched out about 1 size and they hold a crease real nice. I'm already starting to get some combs and whiskers. Lots of compliments.

I say if you can get them, do it.

Its great for someone else to get a pair, i wish i wore my more often but i am working on two other pairs right now.

If the leg opening is 8.5 does that mean it's bootcut? And if it is, is there a way to make it narrower?

If you look at my fit pic you can see they kind of are a bootcut, you can bring them to a tailer and have the leg opening made smaller.

Not really a 'true' boot cut. They are a straight fit. I would say similar to the naked and famous slim guy cut, just slightly slimmer.

They are a straight cut, until the leg opening which is slightly bigger.
I will post updated pics of mine which have faded nicely so far for not wearing them that much.

my tailor looked kind of pissed off cause I never went to go get my jeans tailored before, and i was very indecisive, so in the end i went with a 7" leg opening 7.5" knee opening and 30" inseam

tailor totally messed up the selvedge and the fit looks weird, thighs are too big =S is there some way to make the thigh portion smaller?
