Agreed, they are nicely stretched.

mine were tight as fuhhk the first time i put them on, but i ve been wearing these the past couple of days and they have stretched a considerable amount to where its comfortable to wear now.

I posted pics of my skinnys after 6 months of almost daily wear. PM me for link to my Flickr site as HB wont let me post links yet...

These were my first raw denims and for me a worthwhile experiment. As a woodworker/cabinetmaker I am pretty hard on my clothes and I wanted to see how long raws would last and also whether or not I could achieve cool fades. Its been worthwhile and these have plenty of life left! Pretty good for $80!

Post it with spaces in between or something. I'm curious to see. With 1 post I don't think you can PM yet either so.

Also to everyone with skinnies that are stretching, how are you sizing on them? I thought you were supposed to go one size up. I don't know whether to get skinnies or tapered.

i have a pair of NC size 31, the waist and thigh area are way too tight for me (this prolly being that i gained some weight since i bought these prior to me going to the gym) the other areas are alright, could use a lil more room but its not bad at all.

question is, with this in mind, should i size +1 in skinny or -1 in tapered to get a fit somewhat similar to my apc's with a little more room?

those apc's were a 32 waist but now im about a 34 waist so it's hell putting those on. so id either get a 34 skinny or a 33 tapered.

anyone help please?

AND for reference: im 6'1" 185 lbs

(and which would give a fit similar to 511's? but with a bit more of a taper on so the stacks are held neatly)

broken twills came in so i might lay off my unbrandeds

Jun 07, 2011 @ 23:54
i would say theyre about the same, but not to sure since i sized up on the unbrandeds, and went TTS on the n&f

i would go TTS on the tapered
Jun 08, 2011 @ 00:24
why so? seems like everyones been saying -1 for a tighter fit, but still a bit roomier than the skinnys
Jun 08, 2011 @ 00:44
Just seems ideal for what you described. TTS will still be slim and tapered for good stacks but with room up top. If you want a straighter fit then go +1 with skinny.
Jun 08, 2011 @ 01:09
ahh okay. yeah i want a fit just like 511's, as i put alot of muscle on my thighs and NC are just too tight in that area. but i want the about the same room in the knee down as the Nc, cause 511's are sloppy in that area.
so TTS tapered? rather than -1?
Jun 08, 2011 @ 11:02
unbranded skinny. sized up 1 to a 33.

I'm 5'9, 135 lbs
I usually wear a 28 in denim, should I size up or stay TTS for the skinny denim?
