These are really hard to work in smh

True waist 30, went to 32 in the skinny's. I've owned them since July, but I rarely wore them up until January so maybe 30 wears.

I recall people mentioning these being pretty similar to the actual N&F cuts a long time ago in this thread, do the skinnyguys fit close to how this skinny cut does (when it comes to sizing up 1)?

I don't think I would size up 1. TTS seems to be what people like. For a few people they even sized down 1.

I've never had a pair of N&F, but I sized up 1 on the skinny cut.

xpost from WDYWT. Probably a total of 4 months of wear.

Yeah I have some NF weird guys (basically the same jean) and I'm pretty much even with you minus a week or so. Mine look similar although I think you have a tad more fading.

Currently wearing a pair of Rogue Territory Slim/Straights

sz 33
Wb 34
Fr 9.75 including wb
Upper thigh 23.5
Mid thigh 19.5
Knee 17.5
Leg opening 17

I'd like a new pair of denim with slightly wider/baggier legs. Which would you guys recommend out of the UO line? How will the unbranded compare?
February 24, 2011 @ 17:32:53
Just bought some skinny's TTS. Can I expect at least a .5 inch stretch on these things? Cause my balls died when I tried them on.

February 24, 2011 @ 17:35:08
Mine didn't even stretch .5 inches.
More like .25
February 24, 2011 @ 18:02:45
after 42 consecutive days of wear, mine stretched out about 1.25"

Take a look at the pictures of the stretching progress on the unbranded brand skinny from my blog, where i am documenting the evolution of my jeans www.withoutwash.com

unworn: When laid flat, before even wearing the jeans, the waistline measured in at a little under 15-3/4"

after 21 consecutive days of wear: After three weeks of wear, it stretched out by about half an inch to 16-1/4″.

after 42 consecutive days of wear: After six weeks of wear, the waist was a little under 17″, meaning the waistline has stretched a total of about 1-1/4″ since the very first wear on January 1.

Try doing the hottest soak possible, you wont be able to get all of the starch out, but a decent amount. These jeans stay super stiff too.
February 25, 2011 @ 21:21:57
Looking for slim straights sz 31 or 32. PM me

k thanks. will try tomorrow i wore them a few times and really didnt like how stiff they are and they smell like shit lol. not from me too!
February 26, 2011 @ 03:23:22
haha yeah! i think its the dye that makes them smells like crap, but they should soften up after like 2-3months, but they fade kinda nice, i havent worn mine for a while, but i already see fades from when i did and what not, also be careful about the buttons, mine popped when i was biking-_-

Today's day 57 outfit:

http://www.withoutwash.com/2011/02/day-57/

I've been on the fence about hemming these jeans. Should I wait a couple more weeks to see if they settle, or should i just hem them now? Or maybe hem them after the first wash (which will be after a full year)? I've been hearing a lot of different things, but a common rule of thumb seems to be that you should not hem your jeans prior to washing because of the shrink that occurs after washing them. Any thoughts on my situation?
