But what doesn't make sense is that you ridicule the thought of presoaking "$40 denim" to get good fades, even though you've implied that he should *not* presoak because of all the apparent benefits there are to it over presoaking. But if it's only a measly pair of $40 jeans like you said then there would be no point in suggesting not soaking either. Maybe it's just me but it seems illogical to mock pre-soaking to get good fades when you suggest not soaking to attain more (apparent) benefits.


I'm really not trying to argue here either man, just pointing out somewhat of a contradiction in what you've said... I figure there are a few benefits to not soaking but they're arguably outweighed by the benefits of presoaking, not just for these jeans of course but for any raw denim (sanforized or not). Price is irrelevant, especially since these are worth a bit more than just $40 or $20.

They end up at the sale racks for $40 or sometimes $20 I think. I also think they get put up when people return them (either from ordering online or buying in store) to a store, then they put them on that rack. Or at least some of them

local UO sale rack some range from 40 to 20 its random, i see the same fit just different waist and 20 dollars difference

The skinny 28's are actually a 27ish. I took a pair and compared em 28 tapered, straight fit, and slim, and it was the smallest of the bunch.

Seriously, unless if you really sized down, there shouldn't be a reason that it would rip. I found the Black denim to be the stiffest of all 3 and there's no way that's going to rip just like that (assuming it's the Black ones).

Can anyone tell me how many oz are the Grey ones if you have a pair? I'm confused because the website claims 14oz VS 13oz the ones I got in-store.

Yea the brand seems to have pulled them from a lot of urban outfitters. If you look on the unbranded brand's site they have a list of retailers.
