ay dude i was in the same position as you, need a 29, but i tried the 28 and shit was like leg-sausages, got the 30 and they fit good, similar to Mr.Mugatu. but i will say however that they have stretched about an inch so they dont stay up so good without a belt now. but at the same time i dunno if i would have got with the 28, i'd probably still be trying to squeeze my legs into them

i'm about 5'10, 160, big thighs (nh)

29 would be perfect though

edit, in other words if you dont got big legs go for 28, if you do stick to 30.

i guess ill go with a 30 , i dont really mind if they stretch and inch or so. I was going for the slimmer fit anyways. just wondering , does the fit still look like mr mugatu or a little baggier? fit pics?

they just skipped size 29 huh?

-thx for the info.

It's actually on rideau street just behind the mall. Last I checked a week or so ago, they had straight and tapered fits for 88 bucks.

If you check Norml Clothing also located on Rideau Street, they may still have some sizes for tapered and skinny for 75 bucks. That's where I got mine.

Question for owners of tapereds
I'm planning on getting the UO tapereds which have a 34 inseam. Will the leg opening length stay the same if I get like 4-5 inches hemmed off?

It tapers about 1.25" from knee to hem so your hem might be a tiny but bigger but not make a huge difference i dont think...

Just tried on a TTS/down .5" black straight fit pair, the calves flared out like crazy. I ended up returning them in store but man they were way less fitted than I thought they'd be.

Very nice xarticulate. My fit was nothing like that lol Well the thigh area was good but the lack of the taper was really bad for me unfortunately. But it's all good
