smh @ qualitynerds

If it's cheap, just keep buying it and take better care of your shit next time. You guys aren't even in it for the quality, just the branding and the e-props you get for your WDYT fit.
smh

Saw the tapered fit in person. Fit is nice, denim quality is alright for the price. Construction wise, MIJ uniqlo's are probably better (I'm just going by what I remember when I last visited Uniqlo, I don't actually own the MIJs). It's Japanese denim but made in China. They aren't thin like someone posted earlier; my maiden noirs are thin compared to these. Without having measuring tape in hand, they seem pretty true to size. Granted it's too early for anyone to report on the stretch characteristics but my initial thought is that going down more than 1 size would be ball crushing.

Oh and there is a brand. It's actually called "the unbranded brand" - theunbrandedbrand.com. i don't know whether it's one of urban's in-house labels or just exclusively sold at urban at the moment.

its the internet, i culd spl go spek yoda yes talk and the brain automaitclly reogcnzies the wrds. so if you can't decipher it slightly, then w/e.

what i was saying.
1. i refuse to believe urban outfitters is helping the consumer out in any way, except lining their pockets.
2. urban outfitters is like the target of "urban". target and walmart for that, carry body wash that is packaged nearly identical to that of old spice high endurance body wash at half the price. i am comparing it to that situation as urban is doing the same thing in my mind. the label even says this is not old spice high endurance or w/e
3. they tried to sell fixed gear bikes for 300$, shits 24lbs. they ain't right in my mind when you can do much better for the same price. again this is a reference to lining their own pockets vs. say actually for the consumer.
4. for 78 dollars, many buyers will be dissatisfied with the fit or feel and these will be in the marketplace or handed down.
5. you about to stalk me and give me a F for grammar and writing some more?
easy enough for you college kiddo?
~Lefty

patiently awaits the reviews once those who ordered receive.

I wish Uniqlo had a deep indigo colorway, one reason why I'm interested in the UO. I'm also going to cop Uniqlo black anyways

A buddy of mine just picked up a pair at UO. Just wanted to post some fit pics here since nobody has seen any on other than the UO page. They run long and stack well. These are the UB101 skinnys. For 78 bucks you aren't going to find a 14.5oz selvage jeans anywhere else.

Nov 14, 2009 @ 00:00
dat patch
Nov 14, 2009 @ 00:06
they do look really long. how'd your friend size on those?

He's about 5'11, 150 pounds size 31. I'd say he went pretty true to size. They do need to be hemmed a bit. I don't think he's going to be wearing them out like that.
Nov 14, 2009 @ 00:14
Not to be mean or anything. No hate to UO. But they're ugly as fuck.

elaborate? other than the patch and length they look fine imo
Nov 14, 2009 @ 00:21
the stitching patch and fit are terrible as i expected

that looks more tapered than skinny
Nov 14, 2009 @ 00:22
well you said they are the skinnys
i dont like the fit

they don't look like a skinny fit
maybe for their jeans you need to size down
Nov 14, 2009 @ 00:29
It might be his ass that's making me hate them. Or it's the back pockets, idk.

Yea the back pockets do look quite big
Nov 14, 2009 @ 00:29
the models on the UO site wearing those jeans must be really tall or they sized down like crazy. compare the jeans above to the UO jeans, they look completely different.
Nov 14, 2009 @ 01:15
We need to see another fit or opinion about someone trying them on
Nov 14, 2009 @ 01:26
Nov 14, 2009 @ 01:44
lol yeah, that patch is big. all good, no one's gonna see it.
Nov 14, 2009 @ 02:31
you could always rip the stiching of the patch and take it off. if its ugly rip it.
Nov 14, 2009 @ 03:06
lol dat patch.
Nov 14, 2009 @ 04:44
You can get a way better fit from Cheap Monday Raw's for less than that
Nov 14, 2009 @ 11:31
i don't like how there's 2 lines of stitching coming down the inner-leg. all my other jeans either have none or just 1 line of stitching.
Nov 14, 2009 @ 11:43
^^^ agreed dude that is my pet peave with any raw jeans... when i used to have Nudies they used to that down the outter leg and it pissed me off like no other
Nov 14, 2009 @ 16:38
i like the one line stiching
