February 26, 2010 @ 13:38:20
if i wear a size 33 in levi 510s what should ni get in the skinnies?
February 26, 2010 @ 13:58:38
^ i assume ur looking for the same fit as 510's
i reccomend 1 down on the skinnies. so a 32.
February 26, 2010 @ 14:19:50
Yea I agree about their prices.EVERYTHING goes on sell sooner than later I learned my lesson about payin regular prices. Coupon code JUSTFORYOU gives you $10 off expires Sunday

True when I was shopping for a replacement jacket I compared their prices and they def. overcharge for damn near everything. Wait for the sales and codes.

Guys....what's the difference between the Tapered and the Skinny fit?
They both look the same to me besides the thigh area. The Tapered fit's thigh area
is just a tad looser.
February 28, 2010 @ 20:22:17
Well Tapered has more room in the thigh and 8' leg opening
March 01, 2010 @ 09:52:40
I'm probably going to buy them today....I'll post some pics in a week or two when they come in the mail. blushing
March 01, 2010 @ 10:18:24
So the tapered fit is actually baggier than a pair of APC NS's?
March 01, 2010 @ 10:31:32
^ Nah, somewhere near APC NS.

Maybe some more taper.
March 01, 2010 @ 10:39:34
Soaking will prevent crotch blowouts etc

Wish this had worked for me on my 47's. Maybe I should've done a second soak. Gotta bring them to a tailor for repair #2.
March 01, 2010 @ 23:46:44

so a hot or cold soak and for how long? Thanks.
March 01, 2010 @ 23:50:14
doesnt matter, just as long as it touches water.
hot/cold is for shrinking i believe
March 01, 2010 @ 23:51:40
cool thanks, and got a time frame for how long?
Soaks clean them up a bit and promote more fading right?
March 01, 2010 @ 23:55:26
hmm, 30-45min should be fine. maybe even less
yes it cleans them, could add a little detergent if you want,
as for fading the longer you go without a soak/wash, results higher contrast fades.
but obviously if there dirty/stinky/etc, dont hesistate to soak.

I guess I should contribute for the fit pics.
Tapered, sized down 2; size 28.

ignore turtle blanket, and jack off cream.
March 02, 2010 @ 01:30:54
Make sure to post, post soak pictures
March 02, 2010 @ 01:57:46
alright will do, was thinking I was going to do it tonight, but got a little held back. Hopefully I get them soaked tomorrow.
March 02, 2010 @ 02:11:57
how do they fit around your waist?
March 02, 2010 @ 02:34:21
i can't button the top button, all the others I can. Extremely minimal stretching, but I like how they fit so I just wear a belt.
March 02, 2010 @ 12:09:49
So is it safe to say that if I order the tapered fit I should either sized down 1 or tts? I just don't want to get them to small because I hate returning shit online and my local UO doesn't carry these.
March 02, 2010 @ 12:28:58
Wish they made 27. I'm about a 28 so I wouldn't wanna buy a pair and have them stretch, wish I could size down 1.
March 02, 2010 @ 13:17:24
I have a few criticisms about these...

1, raw denim is not too popping. Regardless you care about what's in, but in my opinion, I just feel that raw really doesn't look too good anymore, it is actually losing it's good look with companies like these.

2, Uniqlo has been doing this for a long time, better quality too, and way better patterns, if you simply must get cheap raws.

3, once again, that pattern is definitely not top quality, in fact, that is the poorest denim weaving I have ever seen for more than $50.

4, you will not catch me wearing anything from Urban Outfitters. I don't care if you think that sounds stupid, but if you are really into fashion, do you want to wear clothing from a company that literally imitates every "cool" brand out there, makes fake vintage looking clothing and sells them for vintage prices, and sells bad quality versions of every sneaker?

I only agree with number 4

Where can you get 14.5 oz raw denim for $78, Uniqlo isn't as heavy. Also I haven't seen a good faded pair of Uniqlo raw denim
March 02, 2010 @ 14:00:49
pretty much $62 with a coupon, can't really argue that.
there nice for that price imo, you get what you pay for. /end

depends on how you want the fit, but I suggest going down 1. The slight stretching will accommodate.

Just because it's heavier doesn't mean it's better. You can have a quality woven 10oz that'll last longer given the same wear as a poor 15-16 oz.
