Urbanoutfitters - unbranded 14.5 oz japanese selvage denim

Feb 15, 2010 @ 21:43
does anyone know if the thinkspring coupon is still working? and does it discount shipping too?
Feb 16, 2010 @ 11:15
Measure then compare. That's all I really need to say about sizing issues. They don't stretch alot, so I wouldn't allow for more than .5" stretch in my measurement.
Feb 16, 2010 @ 16:14
not that it really matters, but is it actually japanese. idc either way, but just wanna kno
Feb 16, 2010 @ 18:21
I'm a 30.5 waist.
From personal experience, can anyone tell me which is slimmer, tapered vs button fly Uniqlo S-001 selvedge both sized down 1? I'm looking to purchase one or the other depending on the answer. Possibly the skinny tts or up.5 if it's not too slim.

Ryan, help me out, is the skinny cut tts/sized up one the same as yuur NS sized down by three? I know you're shying away from slim cuts and all but yeah.

I believe it is because it is rumored to have ties with n&f?

Made by UO under N&F license.

Do these have the same dimensions as N&F, but just lower quality denimn? Want to know because I'm thinking of going to Urban Outfitters and trying these on to see which fit is perfect, then buy N&F of the same size/style online.

I'm selling a pair of sz 28 slim straight for $50 shipped if anyone is interested. (worn maybe 3 times) I realize I got too many pairs and dont have time for these. duthedu at gmail.com. (first post wont let me post email)
I worn them maybe twice. Basically brand new with tags.

selvege denim = just a end piece of the denim fabric. dont dish out more than $80 for jeans..
Feb 19, 2010 @ 05:52
i'm quite happy with my pair of tapered.
Feb 19, 2010 @ 05:53
been wearing mine for over two months straight and they are breaking in nicely. The only thing I do not like is that I find the rise a little low.
Feb 19, 2010 @ 20:38
50$ to ship to canada .. haha.

You crazy, son? $80 isn't even that much for jeans. Especially if you're gonna wear 'em most every day.

Anywho, I have a pair of the Skinnies. I went to TTS on 'em (30), and they've stretched a bit after the month I've had 'em, but it's not a dealbreaking amount. Size down one, or get a belt. They don't fit super skinny, but I really like how they fit. Quality is certainly there for the price.

I say these are the new go-to "newbie pair."

What can you can compare the cut of it to? Exactlty like New Cures, T-000s, or maybe Skull 5010? Thread needs measurements....something.
Feb 21, 2010 @ 13:27
Does this sound somewhat right in comparison?
Slim Straight= Rescue
Tapered= New Standard
Skinny= New Cure

Feb 21, 2010 @ 22:56
I returned mine, the hardware was awful quality
Feb 22, 2010 @ 01:08
Yeah haha. I hated the ugly buttons and the bigass pockets. I took the patch off and soaked them and they still took it back
Feb 22, 2010 @ 15:04
Let me know if anyone has a pair of Tapered (preferably) or Skinny in 28'.
Feb 22, 2010 @ 15:48
Can someone post the sizes? If I should size down or size up?

I currently have APC New Standard...I sized down 2 to get my size, but I'm actually looking to size down 1 for APC next time. What size should I get and what cut?
Feb 22, 2010 @ 17:42
APCs stretch like a bitch, sizing down 1 would not really b a good idea.

how much did they stretch?
Feb 22, 2010 @ 21:55
Stretched like .25-.5 inches at most. Waist didn't stretch much.

Fit pics?

Picking up Thursday. Extra nervous.
Feb 24, 2010 @ 10:46
Anybody want to post progress pics?
Feb 24, 2010 @ 14:07
So ive been wearing mine for like 2-3 months now. Is it time for a soak? If so, hot or cold, and how long? Never really soaked jeans before so not sure how I should it. Thanks.
