idk, some people mentioned in this thread before that it wasn't as stiff as average raw denim.

who cares whether or not its in. wear raw denim because you like it, not because of its popularity.

ok, so i read all the pages, and I see different opinions.
For the tapered fit, should i go TTS or should I size down (1 or 2)?

I'm like 5'6 - 5'7 (not sure, didnt measure myself), true waist is 31

Measure then compare. That's all I really need to say about sizing issues. They don't stretch alot, so I wouldn't allow for more than .5" stretch in my measurement.

I'm a 30.5 waist.
From personal experience, can anyone tell me which is slimmer, tapered vs button fly Uniqlo S-001 selvedge both sized down 1? I'm looking to purchase one or the other depending on the answer. Possibly the skinny tts or up.5 if it's not too slim.

tried em on today...anything smaller than true to size is a no no with these, you wont be able to fit em

wasnt feeling them (i tried the skinny cut)

ended up copping some apc ns instead

Ryan, help me out, is the skinny cut tts/sized up one the same as yuur NS sized down by three? I know you're shying away from slim cuts and all but yeah.

Do these have the same dimensions as N&F, but just lower quality denimn? Want to know because I'm thinking of going to Urban Outfitters and trying these on to see which fit is perfect, then buy N&F of the same size/style online.

You crazy, son? $80 isn't even that much for jeans. Especially if you're gonna wear 'em most every day.

Anywho, I have a pair of the Skinnies. I went to TTS on 'em (30), and they've stretched a bit after the month I've had 'em, but it's not a dealbreaking amount. Size down one, or get a belt. They don't fit super skinny, but I really like how they fit. Quality is certainly there for the price.

I say these are the new go-to "newbie pair."
