if you don't like the feel of factory starch, i'd still suggest soaking jeans just to get that first layer of indigo off and hopefully minimize bleeding as much as possible... but why would you size up on Nudies? shits are gonna be way to big for you

Seems like the slim fits that are sized down are the only ones that look decent, despite not being able to button up. The looser non tapered fits to me are looking pretty terrible.

I've worn mine for probably 6-7 times and my buttons have not snapped, his was probably mad tight in the waist area.

their skinnys look like straight slims
their straight slims look like straights

that skinny fit a page back is good though even thought i wouldnt call it skinny

i'm 6'0 and 150 pounds, so i'm not big. sized down 1 on the skinny fit though, maybe that's why. my apc's buttons never snapped though, and i wore them the same way.

I started over by sizing down 2 (28, now). I've worn it at least twice a week for about a month and the waist stretched a tad bit.

If you plan on sizing down, don't bother trying to get all the buttons done. From what I've read here, some owners' top button have popped off. Mine hasn't yet, though.

yes, sanforized. tts seems fine so far in this thread. not sure about stretching, i've only had them for a little over a week.

I haven't experienced any stretching, I went TTS on them.

I don't think they're will be much stretching because the waist has triple stitching support

Just got mine, I sized down expecting they would stretch, I hope they will. I struggled to get the 3rd button done and I can't imagine buttoning the top one right now (without it popping out). I wore them today inside so they can stretch, but I didn't really notice a difference. I didn't move that much but I thought they would stretch more. Then again my only experience is with APCs and those stretch more than most jeans so it's not a good reference.

How much time does it usually take for jeans to stretch to their maximum size? I still have tags on mine so if they won't stretch as much as I expect then I'll just return them.

i tried on all of them at urban outfitters today. i suggest you size ONE up. the skinny fits like a 511, the straight fits like 501 and the taperd fits like a 514.

doesn't make sense because the skinny is more like a 514 because its slim straight, and the tapered is more like a 511 because it's tapered unlike the 514
