Nah. The difference is that the APC measurements you see are of the jeans laid flat on the ground and measured straight across the opening to get the length while UB doubles that number to account for the total opening. Lay your jeans on the ground and measure them the way I first described and I bet the number you'll find is 7 +/- about 1/4 of an inch. Compare THAT number to APCs and you'll probably find that it isn't far off.

I measured the leg opening and it was 7in. I think ill hem them down to 13.5 like slap mentioned
