im about 132 lbs weight and 5'7 height , planning to pick up some ub 301 (slim straight) should i pick size 28 (sized down 1) or 29 (TTS)???

If you see how mine fit those are sized down 1 from TTS
but I'm 5'9 and almost 180
the 301 might be a bit loose(even sized down 1) if you are as skinny as it sounds like you are

tapereds are like the slim's except have...a taper
skinny fit more like 511's if you size right on them...but most people go up 1

got my ub101 back from the tailor today after i blew a button. they couldnt get the nf replacements on, so i have some brass looking thing on the top. im excited to get these back on and beat up now that my life is a lot busier :D

don't get a replacement button from them, go find another one at a fabric store or see what the tailor has and have them repair it.

hey, so i wanted to try selvedge jeans and these were an obvious choice cus theyre cheap. so i was wondering what fit i should get.

I kinda want a skinnier fit, but im 6’2" 175 pounds, not super skinny. the jeans i mostly wear now are levis 511 size 33, and i like them, theyre a little loose but they have a skinnier shape to them.

anyways, what I was thinking was either a size 31 or 32 in tapereds? I like the idea of the thigh space but still having that small leg opening on the bottom. none of the jeans I wear right now are longer than 34's cuz where I shop just doesnt have them (Kohls) so the idea of a 35 inch inseam seems great, but is that long enough for me to achieve some stacking? or would I have to go to UB101s to get that?

btw, i was thinking 31s because I just got a pair of 32 Levi's 511 that sorta fit (i didn't like the fit that much which is why im back here, haha) and i figured if 31s fit like a 32 of average jeans, then they will be a little tight and then stretch out. if that logic is faulty, some one should let me know. And also, will 1% elastic (in the Levi's) make them stretch a lot more than the UBs when I wear them?
