Got a brand new pair of size 33 indigo Skinnys for sale. Should have sized up smh Looking for $70 shipped

May 01, 2012 @ 18:50:10
anyone had much experience skating in these, the skinny model to be precise? I need a beater pair that I'm not too worried about ruining. Just wanted to know if they allow a lot of mobility because the idea of skating in APCs seems impossible. Cheers!
May 01, 2012 @ 21:13:00
I sized up 1 for the skinny model.
I try skating, but as it's skinny fit, 14oz denim, and really stiff, I don't like skating in them.
I like jeans with stretch or a looser fit for skating.

So no, no mobility.

ahhh I see, that's what I thought would be the case =(
Thanks for the help

^^^when i got my grey skinny's the leg opening was not skinny at all, the stacks were mad sloppy. with that being said, you may not like the fit. and most grey jeans wont give you that nice fading that indigo. you may see some honeycombs and wiskers though, nothin major

fsho thanks for the heads up

I've had my skinnies for about six months now and I want the legs to shrink in length so I can get them hemmed. I'm not ready for a complete wash because I want to get some more fading first so what would you guys recommend?

hot soak is the only way to get all of the shrinkage out . . . my blacks, with like 1 three hour hot soak, measure like 35/35.5

Ordered some tapered's yesterday from blueowl. Originally went TTS but Jay emailed me suggesting I should size
down 1. I'm really worried they'll be too tight as I think blueowls measurements are wrong and even differ from the official unbranded site.

what are your measurements in relation to the size you ordered?
May 02, 2012 @ 20:56:00
No worries dude, even if you went TTS, sizing would be fine.
It might not be a perfect waist, but it's is by no means baggy.
May 02, 2012 @ 23:37:11
I need mine tapered, the stacks are too big for my taste

I'm a true 33/33.5 Ordered some skinnies tts (should have sized up 1) and they were extremely tight and I've read Unbrandeds don't stretch much so I wanted to make sure I got sizing right on the tapered's.
May 03, 2012 @ 04:54:38
black tapered TTS for about 5-6 months

May 03, 2012 @ 20:33:51
How bad of an idea would it be to get them hemmed before a wash/soak?
May 03, 2012 @ 23:13:00
unbranded tapered

May 05, 2012 @ 22:56:10
Do the unbranded skinny selvedge fit super skinny or regular skinny, should I go with the taper because I want them sort of loose.

May 05, 2012 @ 23:12:14
If you're sizing up, the skinnies won't be horribly skinny. If you look at the pictures everyone has posted in the past few pages you would see that none of them are super skinny.

Here's my first fit pick.
ub201's Size 34
TTS

for reference I'm 6'1 and 180lbs

I just put em on and so far I'm pretty pleased.

Sorry for the dumb poses just trying to keep my arm out of the way...

good fit, but they look short to me . . .
May 07, 2012 @ 23:22:26
@ highway. Thanks!
You mean they look short cuffed or in general?
At least hemmings not an issue when you're over 6 foot lol

^ They look dope, one of the best fits I've seen in the past few pages.

Thanks! I think that they are great jeans for a guy with bigger thighs. As much as i like the look, I simply can't fit into skinny jeans.
May 07, 2012 @ 23:30:51
Good fit dude. Can you actually take measurements of the waist and the leg opening? Curious what a size 34 tapered actually measures.

Length looks fine. Would look better with shoes on haha.
May 07, 2012 @ 23:38:10
@ Slap
No problem!

Waist: 17.25 in
Leg opening: 7.75in

How do you guys do your soaks? Just throw them in a bin/bucket of water? For how long? Hot or cold water?
