I wore mine for ~6 months and had a crotch blowout. It's close to 10 months now... I should get them fixed right? Lol.

you can have someone reinforce the stitching of the denim before you get the blowout

There were signs of blowouts on mine so I got them patched up right away to prevent anymore damage, and my jawnz have been intact seen I started wearing them. and washing/soaking helps.

can you share specifically what you mean by "patching it up"?
i think im going to use some iron on patch over the hole, and sewing the edge of the patch so it doesn't move.
that ok?

How does the sizing of these work? I'm a 32 in Levi's and how do the tapered fit, compare to the 513 or 521 (forgot which). Do they stretch, should I size down? Thanks.

Made 1 year a few days ago. I really need to stop being lazy and wash these shits already.

Oh and my buttons finally came in today smile so maybe now I can wear these without a belt every once in a while

If I'm looking for something that fits just a tad looser than 511s and aren't boot cut like the 514s should I try out the tapered or the slim straight? I'm sure this question has been asked before but any help would be cool cool

^ youd probably want the slim straight sized down 1 or two if you can fit the waist, they get tight quick with little stretching. but 514 levis are not boot cut but also a slim straight fit.

Thanks for the input! While the 514s aren't boot cut they still seem a little too wide for me at the bottom of the leg. Maybe I need to go for a tapered leg.
