^ S001 is regular denim... MIJ's are raw denim... MIJ Slim straight is just the cut, and it happens to be the closest to S001 but it is not S001... If you were looking for raw denim, you made the right purchase, if you weren't looking for raw denim, then you should have bought UJ S001

I just received my raw Made in Japan denim but they were labeled S001 Slim Fit. My pair looks identical to this one: cgi.ebay.com/UNIQLO-JAPAN-DENIM-SLIM-BLUE-DRY-SELVAGE-JEANS-34-NWT-/130386851871?cmd=ViewItem&pt=US_CSA_MC_Jeans&hash=item1e5ba9781f

How sure are you in saying that MIJ slim straight is different from S001? Mine says Made in Japan in the tags just like the eBay link and it's selvege as well.

There's a pic on page 47 that's pretty much the fit I'm going for. (I would post an image but I don't have enough posts yet) Anyway the caption says they're T-000's but they look like raw denim. Does Uniqlo make T-100's in raw?

The Made in Japan ones are raw denim.. When you order, just tell them you want Made in Japan raw selvage T-000.. Don't listen to what the guy on here said about MIJ being different from S001/S002 etc... He fucked me up for a minute

Ok... Uniqlo sells 2 kinds of raw denim; They sell UJ S-001s/S-002s, and then they sell MIJ Slim Straight/Straight... The UJ's are cheaper, but the quality isn't as nice (zipper fly, visible selvage coin pocket, cheaper quality denim)

Then, Uniqlo makes regular S-001 denim, which is just your regular pair of jeans

I asked the seller on eBay as well as Uniqlosales rep... Maybe you were referring to Uniqlo's old lineup before they revised it... But the new UJ raw selvage slim/straight is the old MIJ slim/straight.

Well from what I've heard you'll probably need to size up a couple unless you want them really tight.

Depends on how often you wash. All jeans fade. IMO the cheap Uniqlos fade faster than the more expensive selvage ones. You should just get some Gap skinny selvages. Comparable fit and they really really don't fade.

really no point in wanting denim which WONT fade.

the dye on the selvedge uniqlo MIJ's are so dark, it sorta looks cheap, they arent really stiff so there's hardly any creases for whiskers, honeycombs, etc.

save some extra coin and get some better denim.

I know it was asked, but I didn't see a definitive answer.
What are these? I know they are slim fit, but what is the wash/price? I'm lookin to cop.
