Can anyone please tell me the difference between S001 and MIJ slims? I thought MIJ were just a "newer" version of their product line that is made in Japan instead of their old lines which were made in China... But i see people asking for MIJ slims... What exactly is that? For example, wouldn't the old S001 just be UJ S001, and the new one being MIJ S001?

Yesterday I made a phone order and told the rep I wanted S001 MIJ in dark indigo and she was like oh the slim ones right? I was like yeah... Did i make the wrong order?

^ S001 is regular denim... MIJ's are raw denim... MIJ Slim straight is just the cut, and it happens to be the closest to S001 but it is not S001... If you were looking for raw denim, you made the right purchase, if you weren't looking for raw denim, then you should have bought UJ S001

They make a straight cut and a slim straight cut in the MIJ... i always suggest sizing down 1 on Uniqlo denim, because all Uniqlo jeans are made with 1% spandex, so they stretch a lot
