No doubt, I forgot to mention the fit posted is a t000 sized UP 1. Much more comfortable in the waist and thighs and still very slim from the knee down.

^ the new line seems to be using a lighter weight fabric. the construction seems have taken a dip compared to the older line - from what i saw, they also don't have the leather patch any more. can't really complain too much though, they lowered the price as well.

Why yuck?

7.5 is decent. Just be happy it's not 8" like the past S-001 models.

I can't imagine a leg opening smaller than 7.5. Shit wouldn't cover any part of the shoe. Feminine.

OhSnap - i've been wearing Uniqlo's for a while and don't ever remember the s001 model having an 8 inch leg opening? Maybe you wear a bigger waist size than I do

Truth.

Nigs need to chill with the taper. I like taper myself like the next guy, but extreme = fuck no.

I'd also like to mention:

Note: With the arrival of UJ denim, there's been a decline in denim quality.

My UJ S-001 feel much, much lighter than a regular pair of denim. The price has also jumped down to show this.

If anyone wants the good quality S-001/T-000, the only ones available are through the people who are selling them. I doubt the original S-001/T-000 models are coming back.

Sparknotes: Uniqlo is cutting down on costs/material in favor of lower prices (more customers). Recession's hitting hard, folks.
