Now b4 you guys say, "GO TO THE GYM" let me say I have. Iv lost 50 pounds, and I would like to reward myself with some nice jeans. Even tho i might not fit them that well in 2-3 months. I went from a 44 to a 38, and i have really muscular thighs so most jeans are a little small in the legs. and preferably something under 100 bucks if that's possible? bit i still want a straight slim fit.

and can all raw denim have sick fades/whiskers/honeycombs if you wear them enough?

^ Agreed, I'm a bigger guy too and these are all I where nowadays. I think Gap used to make decent raw denim (not sure though) but I don't think they do anymore. But yeah, try out some 501 STFs. Here's something to get you started: www.bargainsavenue.com/Levis_501_Shrink_to_Fit_Jeans_s/124.htm

if u plan on shrinking your waist size (congrats on the weight loss by the way) then you might wanna hold up on expensive denim

however Ether70 posted some cheap stf's, you could try those

sugarcanes have nice fits for bigger guys but pretty pricey, if your on a budget 501 STF wouldn't be a bad choice.

you should try out the mishka raws, they are a bigger slim straight fit, I have a pair and the quality so far is really good, but being on the slimmer side they tend to run like slim baggy jeans on me

Don't spend more than $100, especially if you're going to keep losing weight man. I bought a pair of N&F after I lost 60ish, and had them tailored again recently 'cause after 2 months they started fitting really big.

Keep it up son, I got down 92 in 10 months with no gimmicky bullshit. Just eating right & working out.

the brand doesnt matter, it depends on the fit and cut of the jean itself. 501s stfs arent raw btw but they are great starter denim. The baggiest raw denim i had that still had a good straight cut is fiberops shityeah jeans. but they stretch alot though, so if its too tight at first, it'll get loose. and alot of sites are selling them for below their retail of 120. lowest ive seen is 30 bucks

Pretty much what everyone else has said 501 STF or if you don't mind the pockets, Nudie Big Bengts - they're sorta tapered from the knee down but roomy in the thigh area.

Swagger,

When all else fails, bro--go with Levi's. Levi's has something for every body type. You can never go wrong with a pair of 501's!

And congrats on shedding those 50lbs!

This is a good thread. I'm currently over 235 pounds and in need of some weight loss myself. My goal is to get to a size 34 and I think the best thing for me is to not spend money on raw denim until I meet my goal.

Currently like most people have mentioned is to wear 501's.

Shit, I need to get back in the gym.

Well I went looking for jeans and noticed that I fit into a 36 nice in Howe slim fit jeans( that's all they had since most stores just carry 29-32 In raw denim lol)
so I found some apc NS local and got some 34x34. I told myself even of they are super tight I will lose some more inches till they fit. But to my surprise they buttoned up and where not overly tight.( fit snug on wAist). The thighs where pretty tight along with the calves area. But I wore them around the house and it did feel to loosen up a bit. I am going to wear them 3 hours daily at my morning parttime job(mostly sitting) since my regular job requires me to dress up. But they do feel much better. Will post back updates and fit pics if I can.

Update. The apc stretched out to 19 inches on the waist and stretched out on the thigh a good amount. My next apc will be a size 33
