You don't wanna size down on them... You wanna size up. Unlike most japanese denim makers which shrink to tagged size, LVC shrink FROM tagged size.
If you are a natural 30 waist you'd want to get at least a 31-32 tagged size. Since it'll shrink 2 inches or so depending and then stretch a little with wear.
If you sized down 2, 28, they would shrink to a 26 which is probably unwearable.
in my experience with LVC this is only true if you're referring to the 1947's. besides those I'd go so far as to say that ALL LVC models are a bit oversized (at the waist) so therefore you dont really need to size up, even though they're stf...

Yea I should have been more specific, but I believe Lew was asking about 1947 cut
Do Levi's stores still sell LVC's?

LVC can be found in some stores like Barneys or even Levis retail stores, but its a slim chance and its probably old overstock.
I was talking to a couple Levis stores in my area and they mentioned that LVC line is done, but its supposedly being brought back this year under a different name. Pretty plausible since Levis has been selling alot of different clothing under sub liines like the "1853" and "El Real" for men.
naw its still made, sold at barneys like you said. look at their print catalogs. there is another line that looks like lvs but is cheaper forgot the name, probably what you are talking about.

I cold soaked my pair as soon as I got 'em. I went true-to-size as well and couldn't button beyond the first two buttons for three months. They fit fantastic now, but yeah, took a while for them to stretch.
yo just gave me a shitload of hope. When you cold soaked for how long,in them, how did you dry etc? Thanks alot
