no one around me knows what the fuck selvege is, so fuck cuffing

and let's say i happen to be around a place where i might be around people who do know what selvege is, I'm STILL not going to cuff because then I'll just look like the typical dickriding hypebeast to them who only bought expensive jeans so that he could show off how they were produced

always cuff up a shit ton when riding my bike so my shit doesnt get in the chain resulting in a face plant.

Cuff has a significance you dumb tools, most obvious being to prevent tearing of the hem or you denim being to long (hence double cuff, single cuff seems to barely do anything). Those who cuff to show your selvedge to other dewds so they know your rocking dem denimz and break some neckz (10)is straight stoops.

Cuffing twice is acceptable if you can pull it off, double cuffing is generally used for workwear, bicycle riding (directed toward fixies), and more.

Wow, dude. This was really ignorant. Not so much for what you said, but how you said it. For a man who has built his rep for his knowledge in denim so much as to gain modship, I'd expect a reply to a simple question for opinions less tasteless and disrespectful.

Besides, there really was no right or wrong answer to this question because you can't stop a guy from cuffing his jeans. If they wanna cuff, let them cuff. I didn't know there was rules for cuffing, but I digress.

It is already obvious to myself that, although in text, of what I say, it is inevitable to completely change ones point of view. Forum's are based upon topics which are intertwined with opinions from various people.

What I said was a never confirmed statement, I never wrote that you should, or you have too, I used the word generally as well I mentioned the significance of cuffing. There are no rules to cuffing, although how "hypebeast" is portrayed, cuffing brings thoughts of showing off your selvedge rather in a more significance. No hate, as I should say.

yeah i agree. I've been cuffing my jeans cause im short and my jeans are too long and as of lately i happened to buy some selvedged jeans, and yup i cuff those too.. not to show it off.
