sticking your jawns in a large ziplock bag (gallon, 2 gallon) and sticking them in the freezer for 24 - 48 works great.

If I am trying to avoid indigo loss, I do a hot soak in mild detergent. Gets most if not all of the smell out, and it makes the denim rigid again for a little while.

lol, Jon Hamm from Mad Men said that.

I think if they stink and you can't spot clean for stains, just wash them.

Seriously it's weird to be dirty.
Reminds me of bikers, ultimate in dirty jeans, it's like an honor for bikers (Hells Angel, etc) not to wash their jeans, and crude, oil, grease, dirt, etc. get all over them.

Yeah, I read a book once.

I shit you not,

Had a pair that started to smell. on the account that i wore them while biking for a week to break them in. Had this stuff laying around so I sprayed them down and the next day the smell was gone. The smell hasn't come back so it beats tossing them in the deep freeze anyday of the week.

i think just hang it up inside out, and the sunlight maybe can help kill the bacteria and the smell blushing

I use the same thing too. Best thing other than febreze.

So fucking annoying. If your jeans stank like ass wash them it's that simple. If your jeans are good enough it'll last lol. Don't do certain shit for your jeans. Totally ruins the purpose of "crafting jeans to ones body"

my APC's and N&F never stink even after continuous wear, i wish i can say the same about my 501 stf but those things just attract smell for some reason. i just use febreeze and a nize freeze over night.

+1 for my N&F, despite the harshness i put them through. can't say the same for my APC's though. Had to wash them because it was becoming noticeably ripe.

i just take them off asap as soon as i get home, it works pretty alright.
tea bags can replace the original "horrible" smell, but then the tea smell stays awhile, altho it's still better than smelling like sth else =P

Stick them in the freezer, hot soak, or let them air out.

I never fold my jeans, I always hang them which results in letting them air out more so than folded up. Also, every time I hang them up I spray it with Febreeze.
