thanks for all the feedback, and to address some of them.
1) they're nike 20's, the one paul pierce and charles barkley did an ad for a few years back.
2) making the dark green a lighter shade/lime green, in my opinion would of been too much and not of complimented well with the purple.
3) the dark green was actually my favorite part, i was trying to go off of his hair, i didnt want a solid color cause if you coat it a few times it gets really really dark and i didnt want that, i did however coat the purple a few times and that came out pretty good.
4) and yea painting the sole = not good good. i just got to put more focus/effort in finding shoes with colored rubber soles.
5) and getting the comics to fit was easy, just place paper on the area you want to fill and trace a pattern and cut it out and copy onto comics.
6) and again these are completely aesthetic, i do not intend on wearing these, they just sit on my shelf. i am however working on a new pair by completely changing the fabrics, a lot of cutting out and resewing so hopefully those turn out well and will have pics posted asap.
