well these are my first ones, they're completely aesthetic, would get really fucked up if i wore them. didn't know I had to remove the top coat with acetone but now i do so hopefully my next pair comes out better and are actually wearable.

Yeah I've been wonderin about that. I figured angelus paint won't work on the rubber soles, but what will? Does anyone know?

I have only one problem, the way you overlapped the purple. I think maybe green on the bottom would of looked better. Also clean em up a bit. Other than that awesome!

We need more custom Blazers ( These are Blazers right? ). I like the comic book pieces you put in. I agree that it needs to be cleaner though. I can see smudges of paint in different places.

I dont think rubber is paintable...its non-porous for the most part so paint cant sink in and adhere at all. It can be tinted but that would only give you pastel colors.
as for these...the green needs more coats......yuo can see that near the stitching. Also, I'd probably go with a lighter green similar to the hulks skin.

overall, theyre not terrible...a few tweaks here and there and you'll be on your way

thanks for all the feedback, and to address some of them.

1) they're nike 20's, the one paul pierce and charles barkley did an ad for a few years back.

2) making the dark green a lighter shade/lime green, in my opinion would of been too much and not of complimented well with the purple.

3) the dark green was actually my favorite part, i was trying to go off of his hair, i didnt want a solid color cause if you coat it a few times it gets really really dark and i didnt want that, i did however coat the purple a few times and that came out pretty good.

4) and yea painting the sole = not good good. i just got to put more focus/effort in finding shoes with colored rubber soles.

5) and getting the comics to fit was easy, just place paper on the area you want to fill and trace a pattern and cut it out and copy onto comics.

6) and again these are completely aesthetic, i do not intend on wearing these, they just sit on my shelf. i am however working on a new pair by completely changing the fabrics, a lot of cutting out and resewing so hopefully those turn out well and will have pics posted asap.

Interesting concept but it has been done before, u need to put more layers of purple and green down to make it more solid, also never paint the sole cause it will crack and peel on ur first wear. The color combo could be matched more to the hulk u used on the graphics

goodjob for your first customs. i agree with someone else here that said overlapping is sloppy. should've made the sole part green. slight clean up and it'd be bomb.
