i want to start customizing my own shoes, but the only problem is i don't really know much about anything. i searched for a topic but didn't find anything. I was wondering what i should use, what fabric, how it goes on, everything pretty much?

Sorry to drop a real n00bish question,

I would really like to costum a pair of nikes.

I have an airbrush and stuff,

You can use acrylic based paint but Angelus will be your best bet.
Acrylic will probably crack in an earlier amount of time compared to angelus.
