Well theres no true way of doing this and it sticking to the rubber as of yet. But you can try getting a q-tip with just a bit of acetone on it and wipe it clean along the strip. Then try painting "thin" layers over nothing to thick. that should get it on there but like stated, over time of wear and tear it will come off. i would think it would stay on longer then say if you did the whole sole....
