[Vancouver]Official Tailor Thread

TO has one so it's only appropriate.

Anyone have any recommendations for tailors in the Metro Van area? I need one with experience or at least knowledge in tapering a pair of selvedge jeans.

Thanks.

Good idea, I've been looking for a good tailor.

I know that the Levi's store (metro) has a tailor that will do what you want before your eyes for $12. They probably only take Levi's though, idk?

Anything else?!

Albert's Tailor in downtown is reliable/pretty fast.

Albert's Tailor Alterations
Suite #1, 712 Robson Street
Vancouver, B.C.
V6Z 1A2
(604) 683-2890

Most people who own raw denim in Vancouver go to him for tailoring. Also, Dutil recommends him as well.

I heard about him! Thanks!
Do you know how much he charges?

From what I remember, it was $10 for hemming, and about $15 for tapering. Not too sure though, so you should probably just give him a call to confirm. blushing

Bumpity bump.

All I've been hearing is to go to Albert's. Can we get some variety in here please?

Balsam Custom Tailors

Recommended by indochino.com to do suit alterations; I also took my APC's there to fix a crotch blowout and they did a pretty awesome job for less than $20 (can't remember exactly how much)
