So, i am trying to move to Vancouver for the end of August. I was wondering if anyone that is currently living in Vancouver is looking for a roommate. I am willing to pay $700-$800 dollars a month in rent. That means we would split the cost of a two room that runs between $1400 - $1600/monthly. Or, if you have a room available in your current location, i would be willing to pay $700-$800/monthly. I would prefer to live with someone that is 21+, however, i will make the exception for 18+. I would like to live anywhere west of Cambie Street, this includes North Vancouver. I am really bored with where i am living and drastically need a change - help me out!

Damn, i was just looking at Craigslist. A decent two room is pretty expensive. I guess i have no problem with $900/monthly.

north van is prob your best bet, are you gonna be going to uni or college here or just plain moving?

Just moving to begin with, but i will be taking some college courses down the line. I am having a hard time finding unfurnished apartments. Every listing is for a deluxe furnished luxary suite...$3000/monthly.

Damn.

Vancouver, i need a roommate!

nothing wrong with the area. kingsway is an ugly street. safe, but ugly. hookers here and there on the corners some nights but thats about it.

if you're moving to vancouver b/c you're bored, chances are it wouldnt be a significant upgrade unless you're interested in lurking the same mall/gastown/downtown every week like most hb here do in van
