FEBRUARY 2010: Los Angeles, CA – In support of the 2010 Winter Olympics, Oliver Peoples has teamed up with dutil, one of North America’s most influential premium denim stores. The Vancouver-based brand and native Los Angeles eyewear company will open their first collaborative pop-up, shop-in-shop on February 12, to kick off the first day of the global event.
Located near the Waterfront, just north of downtown Vancouver, dutil denim carries a strong mix of directional brands and original classics. The broad denim selection caters to a wide range of consumers, accommodating various body types and styles. In addition to being at the forefront of denim retail, dutil denim is launching their very own denim collection appropriately calling their first two styles “The Quintessential Slim Straight” for men, and “The Quintessential Skinny” for women, both launching this season.
The shop-in-shop will feature selections from the current Oliver Peoples and Mosley Tribes eyewear collections, as well as a few Limited Edition Olympic-inspired frames, available exclusively in Canada.
Both Oliver Peoples and dutil denim maintain a balance between classic and progressive style. Physically integrating the two niche brands is a signature utilitarian jean that features a custom, one-of-a-kind sterling silver sunglass loop.
The Oliver Peoples x dutil shop-in-shop will be open throughout the Olympic Games, beginning February 12th, 2010. dutil denim is located at 303 W. Cordova St Vancouver, British Columbia.
