i bought my actual size, the mesh toe is gonna do that wierd stuff no matter what, but sizing down half a size didn't feel good on my arch

i am normally a sz 10 in air max 90s and 1s....so when i got the teal/infrareds i wanted a sz 9.5, but they didnt' have any..but i got away with a sz 9. Not too tight fitting but it was alright.

now i have the blue toe structures in a 9.5 and they fit perfect

I'm probably very similar to Qwest905....I'm a 10 in most Air Max 1's and 90's, usually a 10.5 in AM95's, 10 in Dunk SB's, 10.5 in a few other shoes.

I tried a 10 on in these and it felt pretty spacious, along with the toe box crumpling up like in some of the pics you've probably seen. A 9 was a little tighter than I wanted, but I could have done a 9 if I had to. I ended up with a 9.5 and it was perfect.

Also, I'd disagree with the statement the mesh toe is gonna do weird stuff no matter what. From what I've seen, if you get a good snug fit then the toe box keeps it's shape and looks the same as any other shoe. If the shoe fits loose and your foot doesn't fill the toe box, then that's when it starts to deform a bit.

sorry, maybe i should clarify a little - my feet fill the toebox up well, and i get some stretching through the middle to the tip of the sole, and it did that whether i wore a 9.5 or a 9, 8.5 was too tight. I also found with the 9 there was some shape deformations on the sides of the toes.

hope it helps

I normally wear a 9 and I bought a 9. They sag a bit in the toe box... but it's better than having ur toes in the front of the shoe. Some people use insoles but I'm just gonna use a decreaser to pack the front and maintain the shape.
