What does UrbanOutfitters mean when they say they will prepay all taxes and duties?

Will I only have to pay the brokerage fee?

is the brokerage fee usually paid before or after ur package arrives.
but usually when they say they'll prepay taxes and duties that should mean u don't have to pay anything when receiving your package

if u have bought anything from Eastbay, that should be exactly the same process

Are there any retail stores in Vancouver that sells the tees that can be found on the websites on page 1, or is that why this thread was made with those websites listed?

A modest estimate would be around $60-$80. The advantage of ordering more items from Karmaloop is that they no longer list the full contents on the customs form anymore.

So say you order around 6-8 items, they would list around 2 items on the custom form. That's their way of reducing some of the fees we pay with DHL. That's from my experience anyways.

Within Canada, as opposed to international shipping

Sadly yes, at least its been like that for me a couple of times. USPS is yet to receive the item at one of their post offices basically, but more than likely on the way.

Not at all. If I'm not mistaken, that just means the shipper has printed off a shipping label on their site but the actual package itself either has not been dropped off at the post office yet or entered their systems.

The next status update you would get is that it has left the country. Then another 7-10 business days it will enter into Canada customs.

Another question, if the buyer didnt mark down the price and let's say it's 70 USD, would Canada Post go to your house and ring your bell and then u pay that $5, or would they still put it in your P.O box?

I've always assumed that if its a package, they will go to your house and make an attempt to deliver. I have yet to pay anything extra w/ USPS. If you're not home, they'll leave a little post it on your door or w/e and they'll take it back to a nearby Canada Post office. At least thats what they do for me.

Almost always, I have to pick up the package at Canada Post. Unless you're mailbox has one of those large compartments and it happens to fit in the slot, then they will give you a key in your mailbox to open that compartment. Even then, I always get a notice to go to my closest Canada Post for the package.

On the notice, it will tell you any charges you will have to pay. You won't be able to get the package until you pay the charges. Having said that, if there are custom fees then you will be forced to go to the post office to sign the package.

Usually from experience even if it's not marked as gift and it's close to $60 CDN, they usually don't charge you.
