Shipping Costs have gone down, but you get hit more with Customs than before.  Just got hit $40 on just 1 pair of Shoes that were $96.

Just to update another order.  I got hit $86.04 on a $225 order.  Pretty much can expect to pay close to 40% on Duties + Taxes + Handling Fee for all orders from Karmaloop.  Ever since they switched from the DHL Global Mail which hands it off to Canada Post to deliver your order, shipments never pass through customs without getting dinged anymore.

Yea i placed an order off karmaloop 2 weeks ago for $300 2 weeks later they send me an email to confirm the shipment had been placed another week and a half i begin to get my order the only thing is, is that they sent my order in three different packages. This caused me to pay $45 duty/tax on package 1 another $65 on package 2 and finally another $50 for package three so in total i payed an extra $150 on top of the $300 dollar order. When i told them i didnt want to pay these fees because i had no knowledge that i had to pay for them they told me i could ship the items back but the duty and taxes would come to another $150 making duty and tax $300 so essentially i was trapped into buying the items and the duty/tax SCREW KARMALOOP SHOP LOCAL

Using turbo tax to file taxes is a good option as it includes all your small and big exemptions and enables you to get much more higher deductions. It also has those deductions and discounts when using coupons like turbotax 2014 coupon that give a high amount of your money back.

Just bought $75 worth of clothing from karmaloop, got charged $46 cod at the door. Another 20 and it would of been more expensive than the total bill. Ridiculous!

One time I bought a hoodie on sale for like something like ten bucks marked down from 100.
They declared the hoodie at the original value and not the reduced buying price and I got hit with like $30 in fees and taxes. Fucking absurd.
