I then decided to just try and order it not through my account/registration/info they have but by typing in the info. Surprise, surprise. It worked.

i just got real fucked by karma & duties..
bought a pair of shoes, a jacket and 2 tees @ $250
got my credit card statement and they charged the canadian dollar at 1.3 so i ended up paying 328.

dhl guy gets to my door and says i owe him 154$ in duties. just about knocked him right there even tho its not fault.. def won't be buying off karmaloop again unless its just 1 item or whatever.. otherwise its not worth it at all

i did the math and ended up paying like 60$ for a crooks shirt, unbelievable ahahh

154 for customs and all the other fee's alone? or with shipping as well? how much is shipping on karama again.. i never buy from there, my friend always buys for me.

yea 150 for straight up COD (cost of duty), shipping and all that was seperate.
and whats fucked too is im living 10 minutes from the border. so go figure aha

Why do yall do this to yourselves? If you courier goods from the states you will pay a sh1tload of money. And the rates go up based on the dollar value the shipper puts on the package.

If it's something under like $40 then go ahead. But it's nto worthit. Our dollar is sh1t now too.

the shoes were shipped via ups from someone else.
marked at $45 each as gifts, and they were never opened at customs.
and i still got charged $70-80 for them. it's because of duties, taxes, etc.
better off using usps if it's coming from states, and maybe dhl.
my packages i ship out never get people charged.. so shipping something out, expresspost is definitely the way to go =)

From what I've seen lately. They list like 1 or 2 items from a package of 4-5 on the customs form.

Either way, KL is the only time I ever pay customs.......shit I didn't even pay customs for $3000 rims lol

DHL is fast delivery, but their brokerage fee sucks.

i spent 132 and i got charged 30 (23 for tax, 7 for brokerage)
