Your Name
xxx Gulf Road
Point Roberts, WA

just follow what it says on the website.

hey, when we register for this site, all we do is fill out the form? then what happens after? how much do you get charged for sending it there? i imagine its alot cheaper than customs fees we would have to pay normally. what do they mean by $5 per tire? also what is this 4 digit authorization code? im kind of confused.

1. just register your name and email on that site.
2. when the package arrive with your name (the SAME one you registered with) on it, they will send a email to notify you.
3. obviously it would be better if you had a tracking # and all that incase something did go wrong.
4. do not mind the code, its something about ups which you CAN fill it out when you get there.

Let me do a run through for you guys. Its simple.
package arrives,
you drive down,
you give them your name,
they give you the package,
you pay them,
you drive through customs,
you giggle like a schoolgirl cause its like xmas all over again.

I personally havent had clothing sent there before, but I had a car suspension which weighs about.. 20-30 pounds. The name on that package was wrong, but good thing I had the tracking #. Apparently the package has been sitting there for like 2 weeks. All in all, they charged me 4$ on visa...

Hope everything is clear.

OH, wow that makes so much more sense. thanks alot. +rep.

the only thing i want to know is, is this place trusted? i dont want to be sending my shit to them knowing ill get scammed or something. so you just register and send the package to them and they email you when its there? is there any way to get a tracking number on karmaloop orders? ive never tried. also what do you tell the border when you drive through on the way there and back?

come on .... do you not know how customs work? it depends on how much the value of goods you bring back over and the period of time you stay.

sometimes their site messes up with calculating shipping....try it a little bit later and it should cost approx. $16 for shipping a t-shirt....use repcode HN15448 blushing...

i don't think this is a bug on their site anymore. i've been checking back multiple times for 5 days and the shipping is constantly $42 no matter what the item.

i tried using the live chat to find out why but i'm pretty sure it's a robot or the guy was just an idiot.

it is a bug...sometimes I go to checkout and it's $16, which is still really high...for some reason it goes up to $42 sometimes, it's weird...

OK, so i bought a pair of jeans that came up to $90 with shipping and 20% discount.

DHL charged me $14 which I was cool with as I expected it to come out to more.

Karmaloop puts down the wholesale value, so it drops the charges a little.

Shipping was lightning fast, got my package in like 2 days.

do you mind saying how much you paid for the total customs/duty/tax fees?

You need to understand the fees and what you're paying. To date so far I have never paid customs/duties on clothing, even when the manufacturing country is outside of NAFTA.

So obviously you need to pay taxes, the other bulk of the fee is brokerage fee which is what the courier charges. There's also an advancement fee for DHL fronting the cash at customs to pay for you.

So in total expect about 20-30% on your total.

i wish % of things were clearer

and they shudnt be charging fees

I just went down to Point Roberts last week and picked up a bunch of stuff. I ripped the tagging on the clothing and trashed the packaging. I did order a whole box of protein powder (literally half the price of popeyes so...) and customs dude asked me how much I brought over (it was $150). He checked the receipt and let me go. Didn't ask anything about taxes/duty.

Hiding clothing is so easy, so don't worry bout it. But yeah, don't bother lying and say you are down here to pick shit up.

illpumpyouup.com

be careful with things like creatine or other supplements. They won't let you bring it in and will confiscate it. I'm not sure what stuff but theres definitely a long list of stuff you won't be allowed to bring in.

I got a gift certificate late last year and I am wanting to use it before it expires.

I have been watching a hoodie on their website for a while now and now that it is on sale, finally decided to pull the trigger. I had a bandana on the order as well just to kill some of the leftover amount on the gift cert. Sweatshirt is $40. Bandana was $19 Here is where it gets crazy. I was quoted $120 to ship them both. $120! I decided that it was a bit much and deleted the bandana. Shipping was then quoted at $77.

Since when did it cost $77 dollars to ship a sweatshirt, not to mention $43 to ship a bandana? I live in the U.S. as well. I am confident that they could send all of it insured for a million dollars through UPS and have it to me for less than that.

Suggestions?
