Just paid $32.58 that was declared at $78.00

$7.00 processing fee
$13.32 duty
$11.91 taxes

It was actually 2 items that was shipped, but only 1 got declared. If the items weren't free, then it wouldn't be worth it.

with karmaloop? the processing fee itself costs $7...that would mean you're not even getting charged tax....

the $150 was the triumvir lion parka... if not $10 its at most 12 or 13.. i dont recall myself paying over that price when i pick up my parcels.

I just ordered stussy m65 jacket, stussy heavy varsity hoody, and a triumvir tee, and when it comes i'll inform you guys of the charges i'm given. =)

anyone peeped this chart http://www.amazon.com/gp/help/seller/shipping.html?ie=UTF8&seller=A1ESQD3B0J5L4D

It looks like trough amazon YOU CAN actually choose shipping method.. $15.00 canada standard would actually save us from DHL?

no? someone?

I'm never ordering from Karmaloop again. Period.
So I ordered a tee for 15.99, a m65 jacket for 68.00, and a hoodie for 39.99.

First of all, the m65 jacket was out of stock so they refunded the money back to me... but the thing is, they charged me 133.50 first, and they only refunded 68.00 * 20% off back to me, and they never refunded the heavy shipping charges for that jacket, as it is the largest item.

So, supposedly 15.99 + 39.99 = 55.98.

They still fucking declared its value as 133.50.

Not only that, DHL charged me 50.06.

That's funny, I had to pay 90% taxes!

I got WAY overcharged for something I didn't even order.

fill this out and mail it with the receipt

you'll get a refund for most of that

I'm waiting until karmaloop switches shipping methods like they said they would on facebook...

t.dot.o, will the customs do a refund for me?
I just sent Karmaloop a big long e-mail about how they screwed up my charges.

And the last time I ordered something online, I don't remember the shipping fees being part of the VALUE OF THE GOODS.

what probably happened is they marked the wholesale value instead of the sale value...I've had the same problem before and after going back and forth with karmaloop for a couple weeks they just told me to contact Canada Border Service Agency which told me to fill out the form above and mail it in....they will probably refund you most of what you paid....and yes, it is CBSA which will refund you NOT karmaloop....although karmaloop made the mistake, the money went to CBSA...on the form you just check the box that says wrong value and write in the proper value....

have you tried getting the refund before or do you know if it works 100%? because I was charged the wrong amount for duties from karmaloop (the value was $1020 so the duties/taxes was $344 even though my order only cost $140) and the package has been at the DHL location for a week and a half and karmaloop still hasnt fixed the value. They told me this week they're just going to send it back to karmaloop and then send it back to me with the correct value but if getting the refund from customs works for sure, I would just pay the customs and get the refund.

yeah well i got a call from CBSA iin scarborough just last week and they said they're going to be fixing the charges and I'll get a check in the mail...but I mailed it in a couple months ago so it's not the ideal solution

email them at asktheexperts@eastbay.com and ask if they ship via USPS...if they don't, don't buy...and btw 35% of $60 is like $20...

I talked to them tonight and they said they will transmit my queries to higher authorities...

I don't really know if it will but I hope so.

I told them that if Canadian customers would spend less on shipping and duty taxes, they could spend more on there website...

I hope they will change it...
