pfft...i was wearing these so long ago and everyone thought i was a tard. but yea if you want an authentic or authentic looking shemagh, go to lavish and squalor on queen, though they're the most expensive there something like 40-50 bucks. the ones they have at h&m and urban outfitters are pretty small compared to the ones at lavish and squalor so you can't wrap it like the real way

i don't know how people wear these now, but when it was fall i would wear it like a scarf/bandanna pointy side down. and winter i would actually wrap it around my head like how they're supposed to be worn, kinda got questioned by several teachers in school about it...

I still wear my shemagh from time to time. Not in hot weather, but I think they look okay. It's all a matter of how you wear it. If you wear it in the sun you'll look like an idiot. They're hard to pull of tastefully, but I usually just wear one with a jacket. By the looks of this thread I may be the only one who still wears one though. Played out? maybe, but I still like 'em razz

I always loved 'em. I just never really got around to wearing mine, and I think my mom threw it away. I'd pick up another one, but I won't be paying $40 for it, esp. since I got one for less than 20.

.. NO.. if ur a sneaker head. u stick with sneakers and a cap. THATS ALL YOU NEED. anything in between you feet and head is a mix and match.

but my rule is Cap gotta match the Sneaks

but its ur choice if u wanna rock one

your from the middle east but yet you say that? there is no set way to wear them. you can wear them how ever you want. the purpose is just to protect your eyes from sand and keep you warm from the cold desert nights. there are popular ways to wear them but not anyone can wear them how they like.
