Big things doesn't necessarily mean an opening in the US, he doesn't seem to even hint at that possibility. There are certainly a number of cities around Canada that could support another Goodfoot or Ransom (or a never before seen hybrid of the twoconfused, and I've heard rumours of a fitted shop..

Well my guess would be no. I'm not really sure how you got a move into the US from that blog post; it even makes specific mention to NORTH of the border and hints at nothing regarding the US. Maybe you know something we don't other than what's posted.

A move to the US would be way more difficult just because of logistics.

I have no idea where you got that assumption from in regards to oepning in the US.

Rumor I heard was that Nomad will be opening in Vancouver.

wow where did that insinuation come from..I said nothing about the US. We are already affiliated with St Alfred anyways. I wouldn't be surprised if they expand soon too.

We are opening more stores for sure...but in Canada of course.

I can tell you right now that by Summer 2008 we will have 3 new retail concepts open. Fitted hat shop is definitely one of them. In fact, we already have product stocked up for that space...going to be nuts.

The other 2 I'll keep on the low for now.

I think they already have all the markets covered, I mean guys were saying how Montreal GDFT has stuff sit on shelves that would have been sold out else where in a hurry. Ransom-esque store or GDFT outside of the present locations seems a stretch.

If you can't move the current more mainstream North American brands stuff, they can't expect to move more underground higher end labels. I'd consider Edmonton to be one of the better locations for stores without a Ransom/GDFT locations then say anything in between Alberta and Ontario (not sure about GTA though, not that knowledgeable) and i've seen Haven www.havenshop.ca not exactly sell out stuff that probably coulda/shoulda in other spots.

Both are opening soon. Neither are open now. The NE Flagship joint is going to be exactly what you expect from a NE Flagship. A lot of their programs, tons of Onfield and Batting Practice hats, some Leafs and Jays hats, and all those lovely strap back hats that college dudebros love to wear. Throw in about 10-20% of cool guy stuff and you got their lineup pretty much.

Our shop is going to cater to the fitted enthusiast looking for custom hats you can't get elsewhere. The closest thing I can compare it to would be Cap City in NJ. However, we will definitely be putting our own unique touch on it.

When I can release more details they'll be posted.

I called gdft mtl, yesterday
and they said they wont be for sale this weekend..
