I was at Livestock today (West 4th) and they don't know when they're coming in or how many pairs they'll get but you probs will have to line up if you want your pair.

Yea 4th is the official date.

So Livestock, Dipt and Goodfoot in Van are getting them since its posted on all their blogs. Seems kinda weird cause its only 1-2 stores in every city it seems. Looks like we're an exception.

HAHA maybe. I was with my buddy who is tight with the guy there. He gets free shit from them and stuff so I don't think they'd lie. Maybe he just didn't know, it's all clear now though smile

Dates could be wrong, but the blacks are definitely not being released on Sat. Only the greys.

I don't think it'd be a bad idea at all. When Richard Kidd was still in Gastown it sold Supreme...I think that was back in 2004/5?. It'd seem sensible for Vancouver to sell Supreme as a lot of their sweats are made by CYC.

To Clou: I feel what you're saying but RK was a really low key third party account. A full blown flagship would.....I don't even know lol. Fuck it bring it, but ya, I don't think it'll ever happen. But if they were thinking of expanding to Canada, Van would be the most logical choice, culture and business wise.

To Distill3d: I wouls assume someone from 'Fifth Avenue, NY' would at least have a slight understanding of Supreme's allure.

Yeah, I think I know what you mean...and I still doubt that Supreme will open up too, but it seems to be becoming a bigger possibility. There was a rumor about Supreme opening up either last summer or the summer before in Van, but apparently they canceled.

Personally, I'd love to have a Supreme in Van. I can see a lot of corny Asian kids rocking it (similarly to how they rock Stussy), but whatever. I like some of their pieces, and it sucks that we have to buy most of their stuff off of resellers.
