i just hope that the white polka square air max 90s are at the livestock opening =)

I'd say that's a safe bet. They're still available in Vancouver in pretty good numbers.

You can expect to see just about everything on the front page of their website at the TO opening (and more, of course!)

They're a little more than regular 90s - $170 I believe.

They are premiums though, and have that same molded plastic air unit that the Huf 90s had. And the leather is much nicer than a traditional leather 90.

lol at without gdft we would have heat on our feet? maybe your average hypebeast but homey heat is what i classify it as wether off ebay, footlocker, U.S. stores wherever i been in this a mighty long time before the G was there to support me and i'll be here long after so gdft ain't the be all end all it would seem. A great step for the city in terms of the game, yes that was a major leap for T.O. but don't make it seem bigger than it is. The whole reason behind this beef at the moment and discussion is ya boy MATT GEORGE himself the grimey dude that he is, anybody that knows the business end of this (see other sneaker stores in GTA) coult attest to his greedy ways and schemes. Put the blame where it belongs. And yes the attitude at GDFT is not always great sometimes but not always and i don't see how because their botique there should be a stigma blah blah, just give good service man c'mon y'all selling shoes don't big yourselfs up too tuff u ain't above your average sneaker salesman.

nothing wrong with matt george....although he doesn't know me....he has helped me numerous times with questions i've asked and been helpful aswell as the other workers there when i come to the store

and so far with livestock...it's been all love too ...i don't see both camps coming off as they are better than you (customer)

enh...the whole GDFT and heat on your feet comment is a general comment, I knew someone would take offense to that and say older og, mom and pop, ebay, etc. type heat...we all know that. But I'm talking about the newjack hypebeasts who wouldn't even know about the sneaker culture unless it was slapped across their face like GDFT initially did.

Comments taken out of context = not a good starting point to start your rebuttal.

As far as good/bad service...you're telling me everywhere you go and every person you encounter in a retail store is 100% amazing? You never encounter someone who is tired, someone who is mad or depressed about their personal life? Well, yeah, it can happen and affect people who work at Goodfoot too, and again, I'm talking in a general sense not saying specifically these are reasons why on a specific date you had a bad encounter with a GDFT employee.

Better yet, can you give a specific example of a bad customer service experience at GDFT, or are you just talking in general because you feel slighted you don't get mad love when you step in the place?

And I'll just repeat what I said in the other thread:

Who's mad?

99% of the GDFT camp visits Skam and gives him their blessing...

I gave Skam that money cat chillin' in the window at Livestock as an opening gift/goodluck charm.

At the end of the day, Jason is my friend and I'll support and back him in whatever endeavors he chooses.

Ain't nobody beefing and mad at anyone as much as ya'll making it out to be.

Your one to talk about comments out of context. Ofcourse not every employee you meet is gonna give amazing service but point remains when there are multiple complaints made about the service provided in one particular establishment there's something up right? where theres smoke theres fire right? I know what i know, and at the end of the day i'm not here to take sides. Like i said i have definitely seen the benefits of gdft to the city but also the negativity Matt potraying right now is dragging that good name in the dirt he needs to separate business from personal issues.

and not trying to put goodfoot on blast.

no names or anything. but i've had bad customer service there.

simply, i come in, i see a hat, i ask if they have my size. person doesn't leave the desk, and just says no. doesn't check. nothing. i assume ok. person must really know or something.

half an hour later, my friend comes in, buys THAT hat, in my size, no problem.

that was really weak. someone's laziness, left me without that hat.

confused Yea I hate when they dont check for sizes... Im pretty sure most of the gdft crew know what they have and dont have in stock but from a customers perspective it aint a good look.

So far Livestock service was cool but give it time and im sure it'll be the same as gdft's service...

Nah i doubt that, only reason why goodfoot employees were like that was because they were the only real nice shoe store that carry some HEAT. now they aint the only shiit in the city, got some competition.

we dont have a livestock in mtl
but I like our gdft (g'mtl)
and the staff is cool with me.
I went there, in jan. 07, and I talked 1hour with the guy that worked there (east)

maybe they have an attitude, but when you enter, just say Hey or what's up.
try to talk with the staf.

and maybe that the prices are a little bit high.
but damn
WE ARE IN CANADA
WE GOTTA PAY FOR ALL THE SHIPPING SHIT and blahblah.

buying sneakers and clothign @ gdft >>>>>> online

EVERY TIME i asked to the guy (or the girl) at G'MTL if they have it in my size, they say wait a min. they go in the backstore, come back with the box and look if they have my size.

the worst thing about GDFT MTL is that girl that works there. I don't know if there's more than one but I asked her once if they're gonna be getting a certain shoe and she's like 'oh sorry I don't really know about that stuff' and started doing something else. she wasn't rude just completely clueless.
that's annoying when she's working at a place like gdft to not have ANY knowledge.

yeah, i agree.. girls shouldnt be given a free pass for looking nice

shit if i want to ooogle girls i wouldnt go to a streetwear/sneaker shop

maura (the girl) is cute.
I went there the last weekend (during that HUGE-ASS sale.. ans she answered to all my questions)
[maybe] they wont talk to you the first or the second time you go to the gdft, but just talk with the staff..
when I go there, we shake hand or say what's up.. w/e
they wont talk to you unless you talk to them
and i;m not a friend of any person taht works at gdft mtl.. but they're nice with me.

Who the f*ck told Matt George and the Goodfoot crew that the double-brimmed fitted is a good idea? That is the whackest f*cking thing I've ever seen. Goodfoot lost mad cred with that one. I've always been a LS dude but this seals the deal.

HOT or FLOP?

Lets all face it the concept and idea isnt bad, it actually looks nice on the picture, it really depends on ur style, if your over the top or want to try somethin new you would rock this and can probably make it look nice. Only reason this hat would be contrivercial is because its DIFFERENT, its one of those hate it or love it. I dunno maybe this will be the NEW plated hat (remember back in the early 90's) but for my style i wouldent wear it, its just too much for me. Only way i would get this is the hype, and when people are rocking it already atleast i wouldent look as foolish if im the one that start to rock it. haha.
