Why are they?


The fit sucks and it really doesn't compare to good raw denim.

If you can get them for like 20 there alright though, I wear mine on the regular just cause that's all I paid and there fine for normal wear.

Although I would highly suggest just spending the extra bucks and get a nice pair of denim.

Honestly, the reason why I am saying that 501 STFs are garbage is because you will never know how bad they are until you start wearing slightly higher quality jeans. Once you put certain jeans on, you can determine their quality by the moment you put one leg in.

I went into OTR, put on some STFs and took them right off. I didn't even bother to look in the mirror. It's not even the fit, because they do shrink when u soak them. It's more rather the quality of the denim is just garbage.

I bought jeans from Zara for fifty bucks, that are ten million times better than STFs. It's not always the price, but its about the QUALITY, DESIGN, and FEEL of the denim.

The Canadian Levis stores don't carry any of the raw denims except the LVC ones. Theres a store on Yorkville called Over the Rainbow that sells the raw 501's, but they're like $75. If you want the raw ones i suggest you order them from Sears or the Levis website.


which LVC? are you sure... i dont think i've ever seen LVC in any levi's stores (eaton, yorkdale)

i HAVE, however, seen the capital E line, which were prewashed, im pretty sure

Where are you located? cause last I heard Ralph Lauren pulled out of Canada.
