^^^all of those shoes are old...best bet would be north trooper in yorkville but other than that...ebay or check the selling forums...be ready to pay top dollar as well.

what is the best price for nudie grim tims or thin finns? so far the best i've seen is $145 USD shipped from cultizm. other than forum marketplaces, is there a better deal out there? thanks in advance


Take my advice. Nudies suck period, many beginners make the mistake of buying them as their entry level denim. In Canada, I personally love Naked and Famous. Very cheap locally can be had for $115. Quality is on point, Japanese selvedge can't ask for more really.

and no way am i paying ofr it myself, getting other people to pitch in together.

btw, I know showroom and over the rainbow carries Naked and Famous, but is it 115 retail there?

115 or somewhere close...they all vary in price depending on the cut and denim...but the most expensive pair is the 21oz for 180 so they shouldn't be that much more than 115 if anything

I agree, I have two pairs of Nudies, one of them was my first pair of "quality denim" but that didn't last long as it shrunk quickly to my mistake of washing them too early. I have another pair of Nudies, the Avg. Joe's that fit so well, that I actually like them better than my APC NS (and I love my New Standards).

Big ups to Nick at Nomad for getting me hooked on Acne Jeans, They are my favourite denim by far, but pricey.

I have a pair of washed Even Stevens for $35 brand new in HK. I figured why not for the price. The denim quality is so thin and crap, no wonder rips and crotch blow outs seems to be a common occurrence.

I have a pair of Naked and Famous I work in between my Sammies and I love the fit and the quality. I would say it's about the same, if not better than APC's.

Copped them at Over The Rainbow for around $115. Great deal imo and if you look around you can get the 15oz. deep indigo for around the same online.

Can someone check what's up with the store Kamakazi @ 781 Queen St. West if you're around that area? I'm trying to pick up some Y3 Honja Hi sneakers.

It's a shame that Y3's online store don't ship it to Canada. Having to rent a UPS mail box that would fit a shoe size is way too expensive.

Find a Japan proxy? There are many that charge a very reasonable service charge.

take it from someone who has proxied from jp before.. its a great service if you're willing to drop $$ (esp. with our dollar vs. the yen.. ugh)
