i went -- location was off the beaten track. store was nice - simple n clean - theres an upstairs and downstairs. good to see some of these clothes up front in person so you can see and feel the quality. staff was super cool and friendly not like some stores in toronto. overall good to have them here - i hope they do well and best of luck to them.

dutil is pretty good for denim. and they're doing chainstitching now. but a blueingreen/selfedge toronto would be nice though.

the shop carries everything the online store has. diamond in the rough. grand opening was alright, big ol' ransom-goodfoot-nomad reunion.
as for the location, that's the aesthetic they're looking for (gastown location is just as grimey)

I have to disagree. Queen St. W has a lot going on already. There is a lot of cool stuff out there, but it's become the hot spot for culture vultures and posers.
Moss Park is a clean slate. There are a few good stores nearby, but most of the foot traffic will be people who are actually interested in the stuff that Haven sells... and crackheads who need to use the washroom because it's Moss Park.
